The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Kano state chapter,has said that the agency,has received six rescued street children in the state. Mr Abdullahi Babale, the Kano Zonal Commander of the agency,made this known on Thursday,to press,while addressing Journalists in Kano He hinted that the children aged between 7 and 9 were males, adding that, “four are from Katsina, one from Azare in Bauchi State and one from Niger Republic”. A Kwara state high court,presided over by Justice Haleemah Salman  has found the five suspects involved in the Offa robbery incidents guilty of illegal possession of firearms, armed robbery, and culpable homicide. The convicts are Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibikunle Ogunleye, Adeola Abraham, Salahudeen Azeez, and Niyi Ogundiran. While there were six, one of the suspects Michael Adikwu died in custody. A Federal high court sitting in Kano has rejected the All Progressive Congress (APC) application to stop the State Independent Electoral Commission from conducting the local government election. However,in a motion ex parte filed on 20th September before Justice Simon Amobeda, by the APC and one Hon.
