Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO has given reason for drop in power supply across its franchise area, comprising of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states. The National Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria,( NAHCON)Professor Saleh Usman Abdullahi. has said that the commission has so far conducted 88 returns flights with 36,297 pilgrims, out of 41,668 representing over over 86% of total Pilgrims that have been successfully airlifted safely to Nigeria. The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has that it has invested over N720 billion to implement its landmark initiative of deploying 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas, CNG-powered trucks for the nationwide distribution of petroleum products Adding that this  is expected to save Nigerians over N1.7 trillion annually.
