Dan’agundi applauds Jao’ji’s emergence as city boy movement director in Kano

The Director General of the National Productivity Centre and Director General of the Tinubu Support Group (North West), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has applauded the appointment of Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Jao’ji as Director of the City Boy Movement in Kano State, describing it as a timely step toward strengthening grassroots political engagement.
In a congratulatory message, Dan’agundi said Jao’ji’s emergence reflects deliberate and purposeful leadership, noting that the movement requires credible figures with deep community connections.
He stated that the appointment comes at a crucial period in the political landscape and positions the movement for broader grassroots mobilisation across the state.
“This appointment places the right person in the right position at a crucial point in our political journey,” Dan’agundi said.
“The City Boy Movement needs leadership that understands grassroots mobilisation, and Hon. Nasir Jao’ji has consistently demonstrated that capacity.”
Dan’agundi described Jao’ji as an experienced grassroots mobiliser with influence that spans religious leaders, traditional institutions, women groups, youth organisations, and other community stakeholders.
He added that Jao’ji’s long-standing relationships at the local level make his appointment both appropriate and well deserved.
He also reaffirmed the alignment between the Tinubu Support Group and the City Boy Movement, stressing that both platforms are committed to advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, sustained unity, coordination, and grassroots engagement remain essential for consolidating political gains in Kano State and beyond.
The Tinubu Support Group in Kano further assured Jao’ji of its full support and collaboration, expressing confidence that his leadership will expand the reach and influence of the City Boy Movement and strengthen the political base of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
