The Permanent Secretary of the Kano State Ministry of Education, Alhaji Bashir Baffa Muhammed, led a delegation of directors to the funeral of Late Alhaji Alin Bukar Makoda, elder brother to Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda.
However,the  funeral was conducted according to Islamic rites at Mayanka Cemetery after Late Alin Bukar passed away following a brief illness at his residence in Gwammaja Quarters, Dala Local Government Area.
In his condolence message, the Permanent Secretary Alhaji Bashir Baffa described the late Alhaji Alin Bukar as a renowned scholar who devoted his life to serving humanity.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the family on behalf of the Ministry of Education and its parastatals, acknowledging the late’s significant contributions to nation-building and the propagation of Islamic education.
This was contained in a statement signed b the Director Public Enlightenment Ministry of Education, Kano State, AlhajiBalarabe Abdullahi Kiru ,a copy made available to press in Kano
The statement read : The death of Late Alin Bukar is not a loss to his family alone but to the entire nation, considering his contributions towards nation-building and propagating Islamic education”.
“May Allah grant his soul Jannatul Firdausi and grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.” Said Bashir Baffa.
The Ministry of Education, under the leadership of Commissioner Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, mourns the loss of his elder brother and prays for the family’s strength during this difficult time.
Late Alin Bukar died and left behind many children and grand children. Among his children are Alhaji Alkasim Alin Bukar Makoda and Alhaji Marwan Alin Bukar Makoda
