Abuja trade fair 2024: Dangote, ACCI join forces to promote business, innovation

The Dangote Group is partnering Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) to boost trade and investment in the country.

Making this known,when speaking with press the Director General of ACCI, Sir Agabaidu Jideani said the chamber’s relationship with the Dangote Group is collaborative and focused on mutual growth.

However,Dangote  Industries Limited is the major sponsor of the 19th edition of the Trade Fair which officially opens on Monday September 23,2024.

He then hinted that” We share a commitment to driving economic development and fostering innovation in key sectors of the economy,”

He however disclosed that this year’s Trade Fair offers an excellent platform for networking and showcasing products, which can strengthen our partnership as it promotes visibility and collaboration, helping us identify new opportunities for investment, product innovation and promotion.

According to him,” This  year’s strategic focus revolves around enhancing mobility options for transportation, trade finance, and taxation.

The DG pointed out that by prioritizing efficient logistics and sustainable transport solutions, we can reduce costs and improve supply chain reliability.
“Additionally, streamlining trade finance and taxation processes will foster a more business-friendly environment, encouraging investment and innovation.

He also disclosed that ” These
initiatives will stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and enhance overall competitiveness in the market,”

The 2024 Trade Fair is expected to attract over 500 exhibitors, displaying more than 10,000 products, services, and solutions to nearly 100,000 attendees over the 12-day event.he confirmed

While a  statement from the company said it identifies with the theme of this year’s fair, which is: Mobility Options for Transportation, Trade Financing, and Taxation, adding that it resonates with the Nigerian reality in the bid to speeding up the country’s economic development.

And the statement said a special help desk has been set up at the company’s pavilion to respond to queries while urging participants to leverage the numerous innovative products which include the: Dangote Fertiliser, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Cement, Dangote Salt, and lots moreaq
