A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has restrained the Kano State Independence Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) from charging or imposing N10m and N5m from contestants into the offices of Chairman/Vice Chairman and Councillorship, respectively, in the forthcoming local government election. The Dangote  Refinery Plc has confirmed the commencement of production of petrol, making the first time in the last 28 years that the product will be produced in Nigeria.
