The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has urgently called on the Kano State Government to declare a state of emergency on the outbreak of new variants of polio virus,adding that decisive action is necessary to completely eradicate the disease. The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure presided over by Justice Peter Obiorah has  dismissed the application by the local government chairmen elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress ( APC)to relist an appeal filed against judgement of the Osogbo federal high given in favour of the Actions Peoples Party.
