APC describes Kwankwaso’ s 2027 election comments,as political ranting

TheAll Progressives Congress (APC) Kano state chapter chairman Prince Abdullahi Abass ,has

described as laughable, claims by the former Kano State Governor that he would reduce the All Progressives Congress (APC)
to less than 15,000 in Kano by 2027 general elections
“Our teeming supporters in the APC have no cause to worry about Kwankwaso who has been booted out of NNPP due to his cluelessness and self-centeredness. he said
It  will be recalled that Dr.Kwankwaso boasted that comes 2027 general election, his party, the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP)
” Now, it’s our turn to diminish APC’s influence. We will work tirelessly to ensure their votes are reduced to less than 15,000 in Kano by 2027,”
However,in his reaction to the presidential flagbearer in 2023 claims , Prince Abass in a statement on Thursday , made  available to press in Kano,Prince Abbas , said Nigeria, enjoined Kwankwaso to “stop daydreaming and channel his energies towards reclaiming his membership in NNPP”
The APC State chairman then

described Kwankwaso as a “political refugee who has chosen to cling to the state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf like a leech in a futile attempt to regain relevance in the scheme of things in the country.”
We expect Kwankwaso to keep wondering why he has become a wanderer in the political terrain.”
He ran away from APC because he couldn’t fit into our progressive ideals. His over-bloated ego and domineering posture forced him to abandon the PDP and he has now become a political refugee because the NNPP refused to accommodate him.””.
.Prince Abbas  thereby assured that the APC is already waiting in the wing to not only reclaim Kano state but save the people of the state from the undue influence of Kwankwaso from his Miller Road castle.
He  warned Kwankwaso and his ilks that it would not allow a repeat of the alleged “vote manipulation and allocation that created the impression that the NNPP is well rooted in Kano state in the 2023 general election

However,it will be recalled that the former  Kano State Governor and leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has pledged to significantly reduce the APC’s votes in Kano State during the 2027 elections.

Kwankwaso made the declaration while receiving former councilors and senior special advisers who served under the previous administration during a meeting at his residence with stakeholders from Tsanyawa Local Government Area.

He credited the hard work of his team during the 2023 elections, which resulted in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) struggling to secure only 15,000 votes in Kano.

He noted that his party, the New NNPP, achieved this success despite being a new political platform with a late start to its campaign.

“Now, it’s our turn to diminish APC’s influence. We will work tirelessly to ensure their votes are reduced to less than 15,000 in Kano by 2027,” Kwankwaso stated.

The former governor emphasized the need for dedication and grassroots mobilization to solidify the NNPP’s position as a dominant political force in Kano and beyond.

He encouraged his supporters to remain focused on delivering results that would secure the party’s success in future elections.
