Osun PDP congratulates Owa Obokun elect, Prince Adesuyi Clement Hastrup

The Osun state governorAdemola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on behalf of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) in Osun State congratulates the new Owa Obokun of Ijesaland as announced by the state government, Prince Clement Adesuyi Hastrup on his election and approval by the state executive council as Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland.
However,the  new Owa succeeds the late Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, HIM, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran who joined his ancestors some months ago

According to the PDP,said the party
appreciates the government of Osun State led by His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for taking the bold step to fill the vacant stool of the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.

He added that ” Our great party have no doubt that the Owa Obokun elect will foster stronger unity, peace and progress among the ever industrious people of Ijesaland

Therefore,once again,the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, on behalf of the leaders and esteemed members of our party, rejoice with sons and daughters of Ijesaland on the enthronement of the new paramount ruler.
Our party also urges all princes in the royal families of Ijesa to at this time, demonstrate the Ijesa blue blood in them and work in solidarity with the new Imperial Majesty, Owa Obokun of Ijesa, Oba Clement Adesuyi Hastrup for continued progress of the Ijesa people.
Also the state governor Adeleke then called  on the Ijesa sons and daughters to work with the new monarch towards the development of the ancient ijesa kingdom.

He added that ” Our  party repose so much confidence in the love of the Kabiyesi, Oba Clement Adesuyi for Ijesa and continue on the path of rapid development of the kingdom as exemplified by his predecessor, late Oba Adekunle Aromolaran.
