LGs chairmanship: NNPP loyalists grumbles over alleged diversion of onterests form fees

Hundreds of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Chairmanship Aspirants who lost to the nomination of the party flag bearers, have accused the party hierarchy of alleged pocketing of the contest expression of interests form fees.
Speaking to Our Correspondent on the basis of not disclosing their identities, the Chairmanship Aspirants, worried that the Interests form fees money amounting to N50,000 per each aspirant whereabouts could not be traced.
According to them ” after we have paid  the money in cash not  to the banks, the money allegedly taken to a private account and immediately the following morning the same amounts were removed from the private account that is how they disappeared”.
It is on notice that in each local government of the 44,no fewer than  three aspirants indicated  interest of contesting and had to paid to purchased the Interests form at the exorbitant rate of N50,000.
The Aspirants further alleged that the money paid though party personal funds, but was not allegedly put in the party account and nobody could explained what exactly happens to the money.
They urged the party leadership to come clean by coming out to explained in details what they did with the money or risk been taking to anti graft agencies.
However,when  contacted the party state chairman, Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa, does not picked his calls
But a source at his office,who preferred anonymity disclosed that there was no iota in the allegation been levelled against the party
