Tuduwada APC stakeholders endorse Tinubu, Yusuf, Doguwa for continuity ahead of 2027

Kola Oyelere Kano

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Tuduwada Local Government Area of Kano State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and House of Representatives member Alhassan Ado Doguwa for continuity in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was announced at a stakeholders’ gathering organised under the auspices of Tuduwada LGA for The Best Group, where political leaders and community representatives expressed support for the incumbents’ re-election.

Leader of the group, Nura Dankadai, a former commissioner, said the decision followed what he described as the visible contributions of the office holders, particularly Doguwa, whom he characterised as consistent in representation over the years.

Dankadai acknowledged past opposition to Doguwa but stated that repeated electoral victories had demonstrated sustained public support for the lawmaker representing Tuduwada/Doguwa Federal Constituency.

He added that the group’s position was informed by what it views as the lawmaker’s record of service.
On the state government, Dankadai commended Governor Yusuf’s administration, citing progress in infrastructure, social programmes, and youth and women empowerment initiatives within the past three years.

He also urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Tinubu’s administration, noting that ongoing reforms aimed at addressing longstanding national challenges would require time to yield results.

Another stakeholder, Yusuf Musa Janmaje, attributed employment opportunities and educational support for youths in the area to Doguwa’s efforts, claiming that hundreds of young people had benefited from placements in institutions such as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and from educational sponsorships.

Other speakers at the event highlighted what they described as Doguwa’s longstanding contributions to the development of the constituency, while calling for increased focus on youth education and infrastructure.

The stakeholders further appealed to traditional leaders and community members to sustain peace in the area, stressing the importance of stability for agricultural and commercial activities.

They also urged the federal government to expand interventions that would benefit the largely farming-based local economy.
