Kano State Commissioner of Education Dr. Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda has congratulated the Muslim ummah on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast.
This was just as he said” As we celebrate the Eid-El-Fitr after the successful completion of Ramadan worldwide, let us maintain peaceful coexistence to ensure development of our dear State.
However,this was contained in a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, Dr. Ali Haruna who called on the muslim to imbibe the spirit of peace and mutual relationship for sustainable development in the state.
He further stated that ” We should continue to foster mutual respect, understanding and patriotism to complement efforts of the present administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf in actualizing it’s designed policies and programmes especially on education development.
“I want to on behalf of the ministry of education and entire staff extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for witnessing this memorable time.Your leadership style displayed during the holy month has positively inspired hope, unity, and progress in Kano, the Muslim community and beyond.
“I equally wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Kano State Deputy Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam, members of the State House of Assembly, members of State Executive Council and His Highness the Emir of Kano Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi for witnessing the eid-el- fitr celebration ” Makoda stated.
He further commended the Governor”s outstanding performance toward fostering harmony, understanding, and development in Kano, adding that….” we pray Allah to continue to guide and bless you with wisdom, strength, and compassion to serve the people of our dear state.”
Dr Makoda further enjoined Muslim Ummah across the state to reflect on the lessons learned during the fasting period, stressing that Ramadan had been a time of devotion and renewal of faith.
