AS the alleged political crisis lingering between the rank and file members of the ruling party- New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) Kano state chapter ,the leader of the party and former presidential candidate of the NNPP, Alhaji ( Dr), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,has refused to talk and said”I do not wanted to speak on the party crisis”
This was just as the house is allegedly burning ,the state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf,has travelled out of the state capital
It will be recalled that the state chairman of the NNPP,Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa, on Monday evening announced the suspension of the State Secretary to the Government (SSG)Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, and the Commissioner for Transport, Muhammad Diggol
It was however gathered that earlier before the suspension of the duo,a reconciliatory meeting was held, where a peace move was achieved and the two notable personalities affirmed their loyalty to governor Yusuf’
Members of the party were however caught unaware of the latest development, when hearing the suspension of the two cabinet members
However, when members of the press met with Dr.Kwankwaso to get his comment,as regard his position as an elder of the party,he said he has decided not to comment on the ongoing internal crisis rocking the party in the state.
He said that”I don’t want to talk please. Don’t drag me into what I am not supposed to be dragged into. The chairman of the party has spoken and has been speaking, reach out to him,” .
