Senator Ohere,who made this known on Tuesday,in a statement signed and a copy made available to press in Kano,then honored the sacrifices of past heroes while acknowledging the contemporary struggles stemming from recent economic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He therefore expressed empathy for Nigerians grappling with the impact of subsidy removals and the floating of the naira, stating, “I fully understand the hardship this transition has brought.”
The lawmaker then highlighted the necessity of these reforms as a foundation for sustainable growth and future prosperity, urging citizens to remain hopeful despite the immediate difficulties.
In his speech, Senator Ohere recognized the contributions of former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to Kogi State, particularly in infrastructure and youth empowerment.
