Stop politicizing insecurity: Rally round FG ‘s efforts in combating  the menace– Kwankwaso  appeals to politicians

An outspoken member of All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Kano state, Alhaji ( Dr) Musa Ilyasu Kwankwaso, has called on Nigerians to stop politicizing the fight against insecurity being implemented by the federal government.

This was just as he stated that instead, people should rally round the Federal government and give necessary advises and informations that can help taming the act of criminalities in the country.

He made the call while addressing newsmen in Kano on Thursday while praising the efforts of the ministry of Defense in supporting the military relocation to Sokoto.

Kwankwaso, who is a three time Kano state commissioner for rural and community development, however, expressed sadness over how some political jobbers engaged in causing rift between the former Zamfara state governor Bello Matawalle  and the member representing Birnin Magaji/Kauran Namoda Federal Constituency Aminu Sani Jaji.

Initially people were condemning the defense ministry for inaction, and now that steps have been taken for the fight against the terrorists the same people are condemning the ministry.  This is very hypocritical.he said

Kwankwaso hinted that ” Those
engaging in this act are beneficiaries of the terrorism that is killing our people out there, that is why they have turned the matter into politics.

“People are being killed by these terrorists, and the situation had gone bad, now that the ministry has taken steps towards dealing with the situation, to the extent that about 80 terrorists have been killed yesterday, why would any right thinking person come out to condemn the action?

Kwankwaso called on northerners to desist from the act of attacking themselves and setting themselves back unnecessarily.

He further alleged that those condemning these giant steps “are only interested in blackmailing the president and painting him black so that they achieve their political interest in 2027, and this is not in the interest of the nation” he added.

Kwankwaso then  praised the efforts of Matawalle announcing a reward of N20 million to whosoever gives fruitful information that will lead to the arrest of the bandits.

“I want to call on our people to please join hands together and support the efforts of the government in this fight against terrorism put in place by president Bola Tinubu.

“We should support the efforts of the defense ministry as well as the military to achieve the needful” he appealed.
