The  civil society group, Citizens for Development and Education (CDE), in collaboration with the Organization for Community and Civic Engagement (OCCEN) and Citizens Voice Against Corruption, has accused Federal High Court Judge Justice Simon Amobeda of disrespecting the culture and tradition of the people of Kano. In a surprising turn of events, the Kano State Hisbah Board has officially denied allegations of illicit affairs involving suspended Commissioner for Special Duties, Auwalu Sankara.  The allegations claimed that Sankara was involved with a married woman in an uncompleted building, but the Hisbah Board’s officer, Mallam Aliyu Usman, has refuted these claims.
