Kano ministry of education denies report on recruitment of 3,917 teachers

The Kano State Ministry of Education has denied reports of a plan to recruit 3,917 teachers under the “Kano State Government Basic Education Teachers Mapping and Recruitment Plan (2025–2028)”.

However,the ministry described the announcement circulating over the social media as “misleading and baseless” and advised the public to disregard the information.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment Ministry of Education, Kano.Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru ,a copy made available to press in Kano

The statement read :” The ministry therefore wishes to inform the general public that it has not made any official announcement regarding teacher recruitment”.

The general public are advised to verify information through official channels to avoid misinformation.

However,” The ministry warns against relying on unverified sources, especially regarding sensitive issues like teacher recruitment”

This statement aims to clarify the situation and prevent potential confusion or misinformation among the public.
