Doguwa led House of Reps special delegation to Maiduguri, donates N100 million

A special Delegation of the House of Representatives, under the leadership of the former majority leader and chairman of Northern regional caucus of the House, Alhassan Ado Doguwa,has donated a sum of house donated the sum 100ml to help victims affected by the flood.

The delegation visited Maiduguri, on  Tuesday to sympathize and commiserate with the Government and people of the State over the recent floods disaster in the state.
However,Hon Doguwa ,who led the delegation  on behalf of the Speaker of the House of Reps, Tajuddeen Abbas and the entire members of the house donated the sum 100ml to help victims affected by the flood.

This was contained in a statement signed by Hon.Doguwa,a copy made available on Tuesday to press in Kano

 Hon. Doguwa then  commended Mr. President for his prompt and swift response to the plight of the people of Borno State by assuring federal government support to the state government and the affected victims.

The lawmaker also disclosed that “We also pledged the National Assembly’s readiness to liased with the federal Government to come up with a legislative framework or any possible budgetary intervention to help states government to address the impacts of flood disaster in the country.

He added that while in Maiduguri, they visited the Shehu of Borno  in his palace where they condoled him over lives lost as a result of the disaster.
