Describing him as a disciplined and hardworking public servant, the governor said Doguwa’s contributions would remain part of the administration’s record of achievements. He wished him success in his future endeavours and assured that the government would consolidate on the gains recorded in the water sector.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring uninterrupted water supply and improving the welfare of Kano residents.
Meanwhile, Governor Yusuf has directed the Commissioner for Education, Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda, to oversee the Ministry of Water Resources pending the appointment or redeployment of a substantive commissioner.
