‎Waiya foundation supports 250 pupils with education materials in Kano community ‎ –

‎The Waiya Foundation,as part of its determination to ensure full enrolment of all school children across Kano state,has supported 250 pupils in Dala Local Government Area, Kano, with education materials

Speaking at the occasion,the
‎ President of the Foundation who is also Kano state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim Waiya, also giave our financial support to 36 tertiary institution students to assist them with their upkeep.
‎
However ,the beneficiaries who are mostly underprivileged children received school uniforms, learning materials, and the payment of Parent Teachers Association (PTA) fees.
‎
According to him “Education has always been my priority towards community support. The Educational Support Programme by Waiya Foundation is an initiative I founded long before my appointment as Commissioner”.
‎
Comrade Waiya noted that ” This
‎ initiative is designed to complement the Kano State Government’s efforts under the able leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, in the education sector.”
‎
‎”We have played our part now, I therefore call on parents and guardians to do their part by ensuring that every child remains in school and is encouraged to focus on learning.” he said
‎
‎Ge added that, “the Waiya Foundation remains committed to sustaining this effort, with a vision of building an educated and empowered community, where every child is supported and equipped to usher into the future with knowledge and confidence.”
