Kano announces 25th July, 2025 as 3rd term vacation date for primary, post primary schools

Kano State Government has announced Friday 25th July 2025 as the date for the commencement of 3rd term vacation to all Day and  Boarding Public/Private Primary and Post Primary Schools in the state.
According to a statement issued by the Director Public Enlightenment of the State Ministry of Education Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru stated  that Boarding Schools’ Pupils and Students are to resume back to their respective Schools on Sunday 7th September 2025, while Day Students are to resume on Monday 8th September, 2025.
The statement however quoted the Commissioner of the Ministry Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda calling on Parents/Guardians of Pupils and Students to ensure  total compliance with the approved resumption dates.
Dr. Makoda further, warned that appropriate disciplinary action would be taken against defaulting students.
He therefore called on Parents/ Guardians of Pupils and Students in the Boarding schools are therefore requested to convey their wards home by the early hours of Friday 25th July 2025.
He thanked parents and good people of the state for the usual cooperation and support given to the Ministry, wishing the Students and Pupils for a successful and hitch free holiday.
