Hardship: Nigeria Patriotic Front Movement declare August 1 ,to stage protest
Kola Oyelere Kano
An association under the umbrella of  Nigeria Patriotic Front Movement,(NPFM) has threatened to organised a protest on August 1 2025 to expressed their displeasure over myriad of hardship facing the country
Making this known while speaking with press,on behalf of The NPFM Collective National Secretariat
Abuja & Kano Bureaus, Amin Al Amin, said”Come August 1, we will march across the nation to push our demands until the regime address them or be recalled by people’s power.”
We call on the working and toiling people to come out in numbers on August 1 to show to the regime that we will not bow to its insensitivity, insincerity, and false hope.
We will not stay in our homes and die of hunger and starvation imposed on us by public policy.
We will rather be in the streets to speak truth to the tax collector, rent collector, petrol price profiteering, commission agent, and grand extortionist of the century in Nigeria:
According to him,” The  ruling party in this case is colonising the political space by disregarding the electoral act, abusing internal party democracy, tightening the civic space, and disrespecting the (spirit of the) 1999 Constitution (as amended). In other words, lawlessness has become the norm of the rulers. Power show is it.
He therefore added that’ There
 is no room for a dominant party rule in our Constitution.
He also stated that the NPFM,still say no to bad governances saying that on August 1,2025 we will match across the Nation to seek justice for those who were murdered, missing and imprisoned by the regime for protesting against bad governance last August 2024.
Therefore,we reiterate our Demands for:
– Radical improvement of the security situation across the country;
– Drastic reduction in cost of living;
– Steep reduction in cost of fuel;
– An end to the tolerance of grand corruption in public office. No double standards: Regime acolytes are free from prosecution, the disfavoured are not.
