A prominent member of All Progressive Congress ( APC) Alhaji (Dr) Ilyasu Musa kwankwaso, has called on northern politicians to shunned pull him down syndrom and rally round president Bola Ahmed Tinubu,on various efforts been taken to address the act of  banditries and other social vices facing the country and especially the North in particular

This was just as he commended the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) on investigation carried on the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle over allegation been levelled against him, that he has hands on act of banditries affecting the North west
According to him, with the investigation carried out and the statement of the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, has clarified reasons the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle was not dismissed in the recent cabinet reshuffle.
Dr.Kwankwaso stated that during an interview on a national TV station, Mr Onanuga said that allegations against the Minister were thoroughly investigated by the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) and found to be baseless.

He explained that  Mr Onanuga, said the NSA’s investigation concluded that the allegations against Matawalle were “mere fabrications”.

Kwankwaso therefore added that with a clean slate cleared the minister of defence of not supporting  banditry,he has been vindicated over several interviews granted to tell the world that minister of defence not supporting the deadly act

He however hinted that with this declaration that exonorated him( Minister of defence) from act of armed banditry,it will be good for us in the north to pray for him and rally round him in his task to get rid of these enemies of progress causing unrest in the region
He also commended president Tinubu, for not dance to the tune music of disgruntled elements, who were casting aspersions against Alhaji Matawale and wanted him to be sacked as minister
We the entire people from the North west in particular and North in general were happy that Mr President refused to do the biding of those people who were desperate to get him removed as minister of defence
Kwankwaso added that it was painful, sadden and lamentable that some people are just bringing out all kinds of fake things and allegations. That is why the man (Matawalle) is still in the cabinet. The president, I’m sure, has heard many stories about him.
For him to be there shows that, as I have said, some of those things have been probed. They are not true.”
