A three time commissioner for rural and community development in Kano state,has hailed the House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, for long standing hardworking and ensuring a diligent execution of notable projects, that today impacted on the lives of many Nigerians,which now earned him Heroes Africa Awards.
Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, was awarded the best Rep member of the year 2024, by the FDN project, organizers of the Heroes and Democratic Africa.
Speaking while congratulating Bichi, Alhaji Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, said the laudable jobs done by the Representative of Bichi Federal Constituency, when he was the Chairman House Committee on Works, still lingers in the minds of many Nigerians.
According to him, it was his singular efforts and constant oversight visits to Kano to Maiduguri Roads, Kano, Kaduna to Abuja roads and many other similar roads projects that facilitate the near completion of the works.
He stated that ” The people of
Jigawa State and indeed his Kano indigent and other Nigerians who ply the Maiduguri roads project are excited at the completion of Shuwarun to Damaturu to Maiduguri, adding that while the road , from Kano to Wudil ,some portion ,have since been completed all on the efforts of the National Assembly Works Committee”.
Furthermore, Kwankwaso, recognized the Northern Terminal road project initiated through a bill sponsored by Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, a Job that will cost trillion of Naira.
He added that this was also, aside,
from scholarship to youths, women empowerment, provision of quick intervention on health, agriculture and other domestic needs of his people’s in Bichi and the entire Kano”.
He therefore emphasized that
” The award is unarguably, a testament of your good legislation, hardworking, generosity, magnanimity, providing human, societal, and infrastructural development to your constituency and Kano State at large”, .
