This is just as, the Kano state Pilgrims Welfare board has announced initial deposit of N8.4 million for next year’s pilgrimage.
However,the Director General of State Pilgrims Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, officially made the announcement on Monday during a meeting with local government centre officers.
According to him, the initial deposit for intending pilgrims from Kano was in line with NAHCON directive.
Alh. Danbappa, however disclosed that the collection of the 2025 hajj fare has commenced.
The DG emphasized that ” The
collection will begin immediately and will continue until the closing date, which will be announced alongside the final Hajj fare”.

He added that the intending pilgrims are required to submit eight passport-sized photographs, a valid international passport, and have a personal bank account for proper identification.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant all intending pilgrims the means and opportunity to make their Hajj payments without hardship.
He also therefore called on Local Government Hajj Center Officers to work diligently, day and night, to ensure that the allocated seats for their respective areas are secured and properly managed.
