FG spokesman : Media body makes case for (Mallam Abdulaziz) Tinubu’s aide

The Progressive Northern Media Professionals, ( PNMP) has urged president Bola Ahmed Tinubu,to

appoint Mallam Abdulaziz Abdulaziz,as his Spokesman, for

replacing Ajuri Ngelale, who stepped down from his duties over the weekend

This was contained in a

statement signed by  the Interim President of the association,

Mallam Mahmood Muhammad, on Monday,a copy made available to press in Kano

However, the  association pleaded with President Tinubu to consider Mallam Abdulaziz for the top job, describing him as a professional, who has all it takes to perform creditably, if given the opportunity.

Mallam  Muhammad, further described Mallam Abdulaziz as a forthright journalist, who always handles his job with all seriousness, noting that his last assignment as Editor of Daily Trust Newspaper is glaring for all to see.

It stressed that Mallam Abdulaziz is a team player, who would rally other professionals in the media unit to effectively churn out information that would promote the image of the Presidency, if elevated as official spokesperson for President Tinubu.

The association equally emphasised the need for Nigerians to be patient with Mr. President, as the present administration is poised to pull the country out of the woods, saying although the current economic policies are unpleasant, it would be beneficial to all at the end of the day.

According to the media group, President Tinubu meant well for the country, and as such, concerted efforts must be geared by all in giving the administration the needed support to succeed, in its determined efforts to move the country forward.
