The Kano State Police Command has issued a traffic advisory to motorists and road users ahead of the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 7th Regular Cadets of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, scheduled for Saturday, 29th November 2025.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, the Command urged motorists plying the Kano–Wudil highway to exercise patience and comply strictly with traffic regulations during the event.

According to the statement, the ceremony, which will hold at the Academy’s Parade Ground, is expected to attract top dignitaries and a large number of guests, a development that may lead to significant traffic congestion along the route.

The Command advised motorists to consider alternative routes between 8:00am and 2:00pm to avoid delays, noting that traffic personnel have already been strategically deployed to ensure smooth vehicular movement and maintain order.

CP Bakori expressed appreciation to the public for their continuous cooperation and support, assuring residents that the police remain committed to safeguarding lives and property across the state.
