Aruwa vows ‘No retreat, no surrender’ as Gov Yusuf’s media adviser

Former Sole Administrator of Tarauni Local Government Area and former Kano State APC Publicity Secretary, Honourable Ahmed Aruwa, has pledged his full commitment to supporting the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in achieving its development agenda.
Aruwa stated this shortly after taking the oath of office as the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Media in Abuja.
The new media adviser, in a message made available to press in Kano declared that he was fully prepared to take on the responsibility entrusted to him.
“No retreat, no surrender. This is the time we have been waiting for, and the day has come. The assignment has been given, and I am 100% ready to prove it,” he said.
Aruwa said the administration required committed individuals who would consistently communicate its policies, programmes and achievements to the people of the state.
He said his new position would provide him with an opportunity to properly inform Kano residents about projects and initiatives being implemented by the Governor Yusuf administration.
“This present administration needs people who will tirelessly tell the people of the state what the government has done for them.
“The certificate to tell the teeming Kano populace who have benefited has been given to me, and I am ready to tell the people of the state what Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has done for them,” he stated.
Aruwa pledged to discharge his duties with dedication, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility, stressing that effective communication was essential to ensuring that citizens understood government policies and programmes.
He also expressed readiness to collaborate with government institutions, media organisations and other stakeholders to strengthen communication between the government and the people.
His appointment is expected to place him at the centre of the administration’s efforts to communicate its activities and create greater public awareness of its programmes and achievements across Kano State.
Aruwa reiterated his determination to give his best in the new assignment, insisting that there would be “no retreat and no surrender” in carrying out the responsibility entrusted to him.
