Niger Gov.urges fairness as Suleja council Chairman weds second wife

Adelowo Oladipo, Minna

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has urged the Chairman of Suleja Local Government Council, Alhaji Isyaku Bawa Naibi, to uphold fairness and equity within his household as he enters into a second marriage.

The governor gave the advice during a visit to the council chairman’s residence in Suleja, shortly after the wedding fatiha.

He stressed the importance of treating all spouses fairly, in line with religious teachings, and called on the family to embrace patience, mutual respect, and understanding.

Governor Bago congratulated the council chairman and his new wife, praying for Allah’s blessings, peace, and lasting love in their marriage.

The wedding fatiha, which was attended by the council chairman and his bride, Hajara Ahmed Aboki, took place in Suleja, drawing family members, friends, and well-wishers.

The governor’s visit underscored the value of harmony and responsibility in family life, especially for public office holders who serve as examples in their communities.
