Kwankwaso commend Tinubu’ on 80 percent subsidy’ approval on kidney dialysis treatment

The Director Finance Hadejia Jama’are River Basin, Dr. Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso,has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’ on the approval of 80 percent subsidy on kidney dialysis adding that this would go a long way in addressing financial difficulties patient were passing through before getting treated

According to him,it will be recalled that President Tinubu had reduced the cost patient pay from N50,000 to N12,000 across the ten Federal medical institutions nationwide

Kwankwaso who stated this while speaking with press on Friday in Kano,added that President Tinubu deserved kudo for taken this prompt steps, as many
kidney dialysis patients have lost their lives for lack of financial capabilities to treat themselves at the hospital

He therefore disclosed that going by this approved subsidy of about 80 percent subsidy on kidney which has drastically reduced the cost treatment from N50,000 to N12,000 many lives would be saved ,as people would be able to afford to pay easily now

Dr Kwankwaso also hailed President Tinubu’ over approved automatic employment for all 774 Fellows of the National Health Fellowship (NHF) upon completion of their program.

He stated that President Tinubu who made the announcement on Thursday during the presidential launch of the program in Abuja, however stressed the program’s role in strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare system, describing it as a vital pillar of national development.

Kwankwaso added that the
initiative is a key component of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to revitalise Nigeria’s primary healthcare system.

He however urged the 774 local government authorities to ensure that they submitted their respective account details to the appropriate agency to pave the way for proper transferring local government allocation to them

The Director Finance Hadejia Jama’are River Basin,noted that with the local government autonomy,the populate at the grassroot level would started feeling and seen execution of laudable projects ,since they would be receiving allocation from Federal executive council every month

Kwankwaso,who recalled when he was a chairman of Madobi local government council in Kano,when his council received its allocation directly,a lot of developmental projects was executed then

He therefore empharsised that all patriotic people in the country needed to thanked Mr . President for granted local autonomy, because with this gesture they would no longer be tied to apron string of their respective states

Kwankwaso however urged the stste government not to see approval of local government autonomy,as a way of creating animosity between them and their local government councils,but to see it as a way of moving the state forward

Let us cooperate with the Federal government on this gesture,as well urged respective state governor rally around their local government councils to ensure the program is successful, Kwankwaso said
