Kano Information Commissioner pledges to digitalize information dissemination across 44 LGAs

Kano State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdulkahi Waiya has promised  to digitalize information dissemination across the 44 Local Government Areas of the state for effective communication of government policies and activities.

This was just as he urged them to remain dedicated and committed in the discharge of their duties as the Ministry is ever ready to provide modern communication gadgets that will enable them to carry out their responsibilities.

Comrade Waiya made this known during a meeting with information Officers from the headquarters of the 44 Local Government Areas.

He also promised periodical training and re-training of Information Officers across the state so as to enhance their working abilities. Capabilities for effective service delivery.

This was contained in a statement signed by  the Information Technology and Media Publicity Adviser to the Commissioner,  Comrade Abdussamad Umar, a copy made available to press in Kano

According to him,” Hon Waiya pledged to provide working materials to all Local Government Areas Information Officers to modernize information dissemination across the state.
“I will do my best to enhance the capacity and productivity of our Information Officers,” Hon.  Waiya said.

“The meeting demonstrates Hon. Waiya’s dedication to empowering Information officers, strengthening Kano State’s information dissemination system, to effectively keep the citizens fully informed about Government programmes and activities.”
