The Chief Executive Officer( CEO)
CEO of Bomarah Group, a growing
conglomerate based in Lagos and Kano States Hajiya (Dr.) Idayat Bolanle Muse, has empowered 500 Yoruba women and youths with working tools,in order for them ,to be self reliance

The empowerment program, which included the distribution of sewing machines to tailors and seamstresses, as well as seed grants for youths seeking to start or scale up their businesses, was hailed as a transformative event that has taken 300 women and 200 youths off the unemployment radar, giving them the tools and financial support to become employers of labor themselves.

Making this known at a ceremony, held on Friday in Kano,Hajia IBolanle Muse, highlighted the inspiration behind her philanthropic gesture, adding that She was Inspired by First Lady’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which was in  a significant stride towards youth empowerment

Hajia Bolanle Muse, who also holds the esteemed title of Iyalaje Yoruba of Kano State, stated that there is need for us to assist as well contributing necessary quota capable of alleviating the present prevailing economy downturn

She expressed deep concern over the state of the Nigerian economy, stating that as a patriotic citizen, she felt compelled to contribute her “little quota” towards alleviating the hardships faced by the citizenry, especially the youths

According to her,” The  economic situation in Nigeria today is challenging, and as someone who believes in the potential of our youth, I knew I had to step in and make a difference,”

Hajia Bolanle Muse also attributed her inspiration to the First Lady of the Federation, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whom she described as a beacon of hope for many Nigerians.

Senator Tinubu, through her pet project, The Renewed Hope Foundation, has been a key player in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to uplift Nigerians out of poverty and empower women and youths across the country she said

She then emphasized that ” The
First Lady has set the pace in helping others rise above poverty, and her vision has inspired me to follow in her footsteps,” Hajia Muse remarked.

She particularly praised the First Lady’s initiative of encouraging Nigerian women to engage in home gardening, an effort aimed at boosting food production and achieving food self-sufficiency in the country.

The competitive nature of this initiative, coupled with the prize money attached to it, has motivated many Nigerians to take up home gardening, contributing to the nation’s food security.

“This initiative by Senator Oluremi Tinubu is not just about growing food; it’s about nurturing a self-sufficient nation where everyone plays a part in its progress,” she added.

She then  called on all privileged personalities in other ethnic nationalities to do their best to empower their women and youths so that together the Nigerian economy can be revitalized.

The women and youths, in turn, expressed their profound gratitude to Hajia Idayat Bolanle Muse for her benevolence.

Speaking through their representatives at the event, Ismail Ibrahim, vowed to honor her by ensuring the success of their businesses and by creating further employment opportunities for other youths in the community.

They emphasized that the support they received would not only transform their lives but would also stimulate the local economy, as successful businesses would lead to more job creation and economic activities.

This empowerment program stands as a testament to the power of private sector intervention in addressing the nation’s economic challenges.
