AN association under the umbrella of Unemployed Youth Association of Nigeria (UYAN), Kwara State Chapter in Kano, have  called on entire unemployed youths of  Kwara state in the 19 states of the country ,to ignored joining the hunger national protest commencing from tomorrow
This was just as the body stated that ” We understand the frustrations and concerns of our fellow citizens, but we, the UYAN Kwara State Chapter, are against the planned protest’

Making this known on Wednesday while addressing press conference in Kano ,Chairman, UYAN Kwara State Chapter,Comrade Rasheed Shuaib, then urged the body

We appeal to our members and fellow youths across the 36 states and FCT to exercise patience with the federal government led by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
While the current situation is far from perfect, we believe that things will get better soon.
He however disclosed that” As youths, we have a crucial role in protecting our national assets and promoting peace.”
We don’t have another country to call our own, so let’s work together to build a better Nigeria.
The group then said “We urge our fellow youths to be patient and give the government a chance to address our concerns.
Let us engage in constructive dialogue and collaborate with the government to find solutions to our challenges.
Comrade Shuaibu however hinted that while we acknowledge the government’s palliative measures across the states, we are saddened that these palliatives often do not reach the targeted audience.
We advocate for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to ensure effective implementation._
