Gov .Yusuf felicitates Christian community on christmas

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended warm felicitations to the Christian community in Kano State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2025 Christmas celebration.
The governor described Christmas as a season of love, sacrifice, unity and peaceful coexistence, noting that it offers an opportunity for deep reflection on enduring values such as peace, tolerance, compassion and selfless service to humanity.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, on Thursday, Yusuf urged Christians in the state to use the festive period to promote peace, unity and collective progress in society.
He called on all residents of Kano State, irrespective of religious or ethnic background, to continue living together in mutual respect and understanding, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to protecting the rights of all citizens.
According to him, the state government remains dedicated to ensuring an atmosphere where everyone can freely practice their faith in peace and harmony.
Governor Yusuf wished the Christian faithful a joyful Christmas celebration and prayed for a peaceful and prosperous New Year for all residents of the state.
He also advised motorists to strictly observe traffic rules during and after the festive period to ensure safety on the roads.
