Kano anti- graft uncovers 16,800 Tinubu” s 50kg rice ,rebbags for sales

The  Kano state, Public Complaints and Anti- Corruption Commission ( PCACC )has uncovered 16,800 Tinubu’ s 50 kg rice palliative worth over N1 billion at a warehouse in the state capital
Conducting members of press round the warehouse located at Ring Road on Tuesday,the chairman of PCACC Barrister Muhyi Magaji said the discovery of the shameful act was made possible by good people of Kano
This was just as one person have been arrested by the commission ,while investigation would be intensified to arrest other accomplish
According to him,” The 16,800 bags was meant for last Ramadan festival,but it was diverted to this warehouse and then been rebagged into another label bags to be resold
Barrister Magaji therefore disclosed that the rebagged rice that were allegedly moved to this warehouse was about 28 trailers and each trailer consist of 600 bags
He  added that the rice which has the name of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, bodily written,” His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu,Not for sale 50 kg Ramadan Kareem”
However,this bag of rice was been rebagged into another bags label” Big Mama Rice” premium Quality with another bag tagged ” Elephant Classic Parboiled 100 sortexed ‘
Barrister Magaji therefore disclosed that all necessary information about this saddy deal would passed to the state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for necessary action to be taken
He then emphasised that this ugly incidence would not be tolerated adding that something meant for palliative for poor people were diverted ,rebagged and resold to public
