Pioneers ICT Nigeria Limited has launched a free digital marketing training programme for 25 women entrepreneurs in Kano State to equip them with digital skills to promote their businesses, reach wider markets and improve their competitiveness.
The initiative, known as HER TRIBE, focuses on practical digital skills, including social media marketing, content creation, effective communication and the use of technology to expand business opportunities.
Speaking on the programme, the Chief Executive Officer of Pioneers ICT, Hassan Umar Dankura, said the initiative was designed to improve women’s knowledge, enhance their use of available resources and support the growth of their businesses.
He explained that the participants would receive hands-on training to enable them to market their products and services more effectively, attract customers and build stronger business relationships.

Dankura disclosed that the programme commenced with 25 participants selected from more than 160 applicants, explaining that the decision to begin with a small group was aimed at ensuring effective learning and measurable results.
He said the selection process was carefully conducted to identify applicants who were committed to applying the knowledge and skills acquired to improve their businesses.
“Our aim is to upgrade their thinking, the resources they use, and ultimately their businesses,” Dankura said, emphasising that the programme was designed to deliver meaningful and lasting benefits to the participants.
Also speaking, the Founder and Senior Vision Director of Sustainable Innovation and Development Solutions (SIDS), Dr Musa Abdullahi Sufi, highlighted the importance of technology in promoting women’s entrepreneurship and economic development in Northern Nigeria.
Sufi said the initiative would expose participants to modern technological tools, including artificial intelligence, to help them improve business operations, increase productivity and reach more customers.
