However, In a rare display of political unity, the Iftar gathering brought together members of both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Speaking at the flag-off of the feeding programme, Seyi Tinubu emphasized the importance of community service and social welfare, particularly during Ramadan.
He reiterated his commitment to initiatives that uplift the less privileged and foster national unity.

While Alhaji Aminu Kabir Yusuf,son of the current governor of Kano state expressed his joy and appreciation for notable personnalities that graced the occasion
He also commended Seyi Tinubu’ for done the state this honor for commencing Ramadan fasting break in hoping that this gesture would be done to other states in the country
Aside from the above people that attended the occasion ,other
notable attendees were the NNPP Chairman in Kano, Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa, and key political stakeholders from both parties as well as several government appointees, grassroots mobilizers, and politicians, reinforcing the event’s significance beyond party lines.
The event in Kano held at Amani Event centre, marks yet another effort in his grassroots engagement across the country, reflecting his growing influence in humanitarian and political circles.
As Ramadan progresses, the feeding programme is expected to provide essential meals to thousands of fasting individuals, particularly those in need, further strengthening the bond between leaders and the people.
However, earlier, during the event, held at Al-Furqan Mosque in the Kano metropolis, was part of Seyi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Youth Engagement (RHYE) initiative, aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities.
The feeding programme aligns with the broader vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by the Tinubu administration.
Before the Iftar, Seyi Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to Aminu Dantata, a renowned business magnate, where they discussed social and developmental issues. He later met with Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, in what observers see as a significant move, given the political landscape of the state.
