The Director-General (DG)of the National Productivity Centre, (NPC)Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, has said that no fewer than 10,000 women and youths’ President Tinubu Support Groups(TSG) from seven Northwestern States, will  received N900 nillion empowerment through the NPC ,to assist them be a self reliance.
According to him,this was aimed at
 ensure the success of small-scale businesses, clusters would be initiated to enabling youths to become self-reliant and employers of labor.
The DG NPC,stated this during a special empowerment program supported by Engineer Abba Bichi with N900 million

Dan  Agundi commended  the efforts of the TSG  and announced that seven states in the North West would benefit from the gesture.

He however, commended Hon. Abba Bichi, Chairman of the Appropriation Committee, Federal House of Representatives, for his generous support to the Support Group, who ensured that the money was appropriated and released for the programs.

According to him,” The  group, which comprises supporters from the North West states, worked tirelessly to ensure the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2019 general elections.

He then added that a  total of 10,000 people are expected to benefit from the program, which includes the distribution of empowerment items such as motorcycles, sewing machines, and food items.

Dan Agundi emphasized that due process would be followed to ensure that the gesture reaches the grassroots politicians.

He also noted that another empowerment program worth N10 billion would be executed later this year, with the TSG expected to benefit from the gesture.

To ensure the success of small-scale businesses, clusters would be initiated, enabling youths to become self-reliant and employers of labor.

” A committee has been constituted to fine-tune the modalities of the takeoff of the small-scale businesses aimed at empowering the youths.”

Baffa Babba Dan Agundi praised Engineer Abba Bichi’s generosity and urged politicians to emulate his example.

He lauded the exemplary leadership of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Kano State Chairman of the Party Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas.

He also called on social media influencers to avoid advocating for fake news and to always embrace the truth.¹
