He however said that based on the executive order signed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf can recover land-grabbing syndicates and is pursuing them.
The PCACC, while disclosed how the syndicates operate, Magaji said, “If they want to grab your land, they will connive with these lawyers and they now file an application or coin a name of a defendant that is even not in existence and they would go and obtain consent judgment.”
He therefore emphasized that the state government is not a party to such suits as all the lands they are trying to grab emanate from the Kano state Government.
Magaji commended the efforts of officials of the Department of State Service who rejected a bribe offer of 2.8 million Naira from one of the suspects during the arrest.
He then expressed the commitment of the Anti-Graft Commission in complementing the efforts of the Kano State Government in bringing sanity into the state.
He then highlighted that ” What we are doing now will put an end to these ungodly activities.”
