A political stakeholder in Osun State has described the call for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke as a development-driven decision rather than a partisan move.

Fadipe Ibukun Ishola, an aspirant for the Osun East Senatorial District in 2027, said sustaining the current administration would ensure continuity in governance and consolidate ongoing developmental strides across the state.

According to him, since assuming office, Governor Adeleke has restored hope among residents through infrastructural renewal, improved welfare for workers and pensioners, grassroots empowerment initiatives and inclusive governance.

He noted that the dividends of democracy were becoming more visible in communities across Osun, adding that stability in leadership remains essential for completing projects, maturing policies and accelerating economic growth.

“A second term will consolidate the gains already recorded and unlock new opportunities for economic advancement, youth empowerment, education reform and comprehensive infrastructural transformation,” Ishola stated.

He emphasised that continuity would strengthen institutions, boost investor confidence and prevent disruption of ongoing programmes.

The aspirant called on residents of the state to rise above partisan considerations and make what he described as a development-oriented choice in future electoral decisions.

“Re-electing Governor Adeleke means sustaining infrastructural development, strengthening workers’ and pensioners’ welfare, expanding empowerment programmes and promoting transparency and accountability,” he added.

Ishola maintained that the movement transcends politics and is focused on progress, unity and collective prosperity for Osun State

He concluded with a call for sustained support to move the state forward, reiterating the slogan, “4 + 4 for continuity, 4 + 4 for development, 4 + 4 for a greater Osun.”
