Kano Commissioner hails PCOPCLIS for boosting Islamic education.

Kano State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, has commended the Conference of Provosts of Colleges of Legal and Islamic Studies in Nigeria (COPCLIS) for their dedication to enhancing Islamic and legal education in the country.
Dr. Ali Makoda made the commendation, while speaking at the 48th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Provosts of Colleges of Legal and Islamic Studies in Nigeria (COPCLIS) hosted by Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies, Kano
He noted that…. ” the conference has significantly contributed to strengthening islamic and legal education, fostering a culture of discipline and knowledge.
” I really appreciate that your hard work in building institutions of knowledge, discipline and nation-building is invaluable and contributed to improving Islamic and legal education in Nigeria ” Makoda stated.
While commenting on the award given to him, the Commissioner attributed the honor to the collective efforts of the Kano State Ministry of Education under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in safeguarding the state education sector.

Dr. Makoda represented by the Director Planning, Research and Statistics of the Ministry Yusha’u Hamza emphasized the vital role the conference plays in building institutions of knowledge that elevate educational standards not just in Kano, but across Nigeria.

Dr. Makoda assured that the Kano State Government would remain committed to partnering with COPCLIS and other stakeholders to advance education.
Other awardees include Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, and Commissioner for Science, Technology, and Innovations, Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Kofar Mata.
This commendation reflects the Kano State Government’s commitment to education reform and its pursuit of partnerships to enhance the sector.
