The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano Strategic Command ,has arrested a 29-year-old Adamu Yusuf, in possession of 7,000 capsules of Tramadol, weighing 4.1 kilograms concealed in a 20-liter oil jerrycan.
The command said the arrests was effected in August 23, 2025, operatives attached to the Kiru area command apprehended Yusuf along Zaria-Kano Road, Kwanar Dangora area, while he was coming from Lagos with a substantial cache of tramadol capsules.
The suspect had cleverly concealed 7,000 capsules of Tramadol, weighing 4.1 kilograms, in a 20-liter oil jerrycan.
However, the NDLEA operatives demonstrated exceptional expertise in detecting hidden substances, showcasing their skills and experience in identifying concealed drugs.
The command stated that” This
successful arrest underscores the agency’s unwavering commitment to disrupting the supply chain of illicit substances and ensuring community safety.”

According to him” The
