Kano State wing of Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ)has commended
the motive behind the appointment  of Rilwanu Idris  Malikawa Garu to serve in Kano Pillars football club reconstituted Management Committee,adding that the gesture  most delightful and competent.
The Union also maintained that Malikawa being in the system for decades will enormously contribute in no small measure in ensuring the progression of the team going by his track record being an old horse in the scheme as a phrase says” experience is the best teacher”
This was contained in a statement jointly made by the council’s  Acting Chairman Comrade Mustapha Gambo Muhammad Capacity and Secretary Comrade Abubakar Shehu Kwaru respectively,a copy made available to press in Kano
Accordingly,the union noted that ” They  have for long been praying for a time when such appointment would be made in view of the appointee*s passion  affection, and love for the team which dated back to since its formation, expressed optimism that wonders will by no means be seen in one way or the other in the club’s affairs.”
It unflinchingly thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the rightful thinking and observation in that order and urged the veteran sports journalist to do the utmost in conducting his responsibility devoid of qualms or jittery so as to prove doubters wrong.
However,the body then called on the present administration to haste the appointment of a new Tactician to oversee the technical aspect of the club as time is running out towards the commencement of new football season next month stressing that so doing will definitely help in blending the team in readiness for the ten months  long event.
Furthermore,the organization however seize the medium to express enchantment over the foresight in according Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa the role of General Managership  of the Pyramid City Lads and duly hope the duo  will unite with their colleagues in bringing the much anticipated  rapid development to the team aimed at restoring its lost glory.
