However, the suspension follows allegations raised by the Kano State Hisbah that the command arrested him with a married woman inside uncompleted building

It was also reported that he will remain in effect pending the outcome of an investigation.
This development was confirmed in a statement by Malam Bala Ibrahim, Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, who noted that the decision is aimed at ensuring transparency and maintaining the integrity of the state administration.

The suspension is a precautionary measure intended to facilitate a fair investigation,” said Malam Bala Ibrahim.

The SSG reiterated the government’s commitment to accountability and ethical governance under the leadership of Governor Namadi.
