According to a reliable source ,who preferred anonymity disclosed that when governor Yusuf,announced the sacked of all the emirs created by former Ganduje’s regime only Emir of Gaya accepted the decision in good faith
However,our source hinted that the deposed emir of Bichi, after been dethroned does not all that posed any serious confrontation after been deposed ,but it was alleged that his senior brother ,the dethroned emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero’,s resistance against been sacked and as well dragged it before the court allegedly work against him
The finding also uncovered that during gov Yusuf campaign,when he visited two of these sacked emirs in their palace in on courtesy call and sought for prayers for his election,he was allegedly not threated well,while one of them even came out against him,”by said that he was not supported him for his ambition”
It was as a result of these shabby treatment handed over to him,that he vowed that if he eventually became governor,he would fight back
But when the state attorney General Barrister Hatuna Dederis, thrown more light on why second class emir was not appointed for Bichi,which was earlier sacked
However,it was also on record that he also became Emir of Gaya,when his father ,who was the one firstly appointed by former governor Ganduje die
Our finding indicated that apart of being a young man,his humble and the respect he gave to governor Yusuf,by not quarreling or posed an antagonist posture,earned him the opportunity of being reinstated as a second class emir of Gaya
Meanwhile,the state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf,had appointed
three second-class emirs for Rano, Gaya, and Karaye Emirates, with immediate effect.
The governor reinstated the Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya, and appointed new ones for Rano and Karaye.
Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye was appointed as Emir of Karaye. Until his appointment, Karaye was the District Head of Rogo.
Governor Yusuf also appointed the District Head of Bunkure, Alhaji Muhammad Isa Umar, as the new second-class Emir of Rano.
This was contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson to the Governor, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, and made available to press on Wednesday in Kano said the new emirates are to serve as second-class emirs under the emir of Kano.
The statement quoted the governor as congratulating the newly appointed emirs and advising them to be custodians of the culture, peace, and unity of the people in their respective emirates.
It will be recalled that the governor assented to the three second-class emirates law on Tuesday, shortly after the state House of Assembly passed the bill.
